Canopy Walk at Nyungwe Forest NP - Rwanda
The Canopy Walkway which has been completed in the Nyungwe Forest National Park is 50 meters above the ground level, and 200 meters long. The dizzying platform is above a steep and deep valley across a massive forest.

The incidents are on the Congo territory and like in the past years this doesn't necessary affect Rwanda Tourism. Rwanda and Uganda have taken the necessary steps to protect their borders and National Parks.

Mountain Gorillas are safe from Ebola
There have been a number of news reports on the international broadcast media and websites stating the Ebola virus is threatening to wipe out the gorillas in Africa. The report comes as a result of a research study conducted by Magdalena Bermejo of Barcelona University in Spain.

Gorilla Tracking suspended in Mgahinga NP (Uganda).
Gorilla tracking in Mgahinga in Uganda has been suspended as the gorilla group usually resident there has moved across the border into Rwanda. It is difficult to predict when they may return. Clients still can go gorilla tracking at Nkuringo in southern Bwindi. Edited on the 06/05/2006.
