Budungo Forest Reserve (FR)
Budongo Forest (450 km²) is the largest mahogany forest in East Africa. The estimated 800 chimpanzees that live in the forest form the largest population in Uganda! They have been studied in the forest for several decades, and about five of the groups have become habituated to humans. Budongo is also a wonderful forest for birdwatching, especially along the Royal Mile. More than 360 species have been recorded.  Parks & places
